Where or where has this recipe for brussel sprouts been all my life! I will make this dish again and again. There was nothing bitter about these brussel sprouts. Think about it for a minute….carmelized sweet onions, nutty toasty pistachios and roasted brussel sprouts. It was delicious. I always peel away the first few tough or unsightly layers and I did cut mine in half. Eliot and I really enjoyed this dish – we ate it with the Butternut Squash Timbales. I wouldn’t add or do anything different to this recipe of Colleen’s. Now you’re probably wondering…how did it go with Sage and Jazz? Well, we ‘made’ the girls try the brussel sprouts and well, they did not like them – they did try and sneak all the pistachios though. I ended up cutting them up and hid them in forkfuls of other food and Jazz didn’t seem to notice or mind…so it really does have to do with being sneaky with these vegetables! Time to sign off. Chay.

These do look good! D & I tried a recipe from his Mum that was very similiar…carmelized onions, garlic and brussel sprouts. The Brussel sprouts were cut in half and fried…very yummy!!

This looks really yummy! I think I would totally love this considering brussel sprouts are one of my favorite vegetables…I know I am weird, say it, it’s OK. Would like to have the recipe for this if you care to pass it along. Looking forward to this weeks menu!
